Eva Danielson is a singer-songwriter, violinist, and violist who lives in Wakefield, Quebec. She began to study and perform music at the wee age of 5, and continued through university, completing a bachelor of arts in music. She's taught, performed, written, and collaborated ever since, and has been an active part of the Wakefield music scene for many years.

 

Eva's songs a come from daydreams, reflection, curiosity, and the confusion of being a new human in an old world, often showcasing vocal harmonies and string arrangements, paired with folk, pop, psych, and country vibes. A former member of Wakefield folk band Lyrebird, Eva is also often recognized as a fiddle player from her years playing east coast tunes with her band Pickachune. Eva's songwriting is littered with references to favourite books and poems, classical symphonies and choral pieces, inside jokes, and personal mantras. She's currently writing, demoing, and performing new work with plans to record an album in the near future.
