Eva Danielson is a singer-songwriter, violinist, and violist who lives in Wakefield, Quebec. She began to study and perform music at the wee age of 5, and continued through university, completing a bachelor of arts in music. She's taught, performed, written, and collaborated ever since, and has been an active part of the Wakefield music scene for more than a decade.

 

Eva weaves her lifetime of experience into her songs, often showcasing vocal harmonies and string arrangements, paired with indie folk, country, and pop influences. A former member of Wakefield folk band Lyrebird, Eva is also often recognized as a fiddle player from her years playing east coast tunes with her band Pickachune. Eva has recently delved back into songwriting, pulling from her extensive musical background and complex life experiences to create a new and engaging sound. She's currently writing, demoing, and performing new work, with plans to record a full-length album in the near future.
